St Leonard's Residency

This month I took part in a collaborative residency at St Leonard’s Shoreditch, working with a group of multi~disciplinary artists to create work in response to the historic church, which is undergoing restoration.

Together we experimented with a range of creative forms, including movement, music, writing and craft, exploring ways to uncover and connect with the heritage of the site. Through the programme, I have developed a new multi~sensory performance, When I Grow Rich, illuminating St Leonard’s historic connection with the local Whitechapel Bell Foundry.

This work will be showcased in September as part of The Woven, a co~created, site~specific performance at St Leonard’s Shoreditch, curated by Sun at Night London.
