Frankenzine

Pleased to share new artwork which will feature as part of Frankenzine, a project conceived and curated by Jarryd Lowe.‍

Frankenzine is a collaborative collage zine made with seven artists working remotely over lockdown: Jarryd Lowe, Philip Elbourne, Louis Woodhead, Michael Coppelov, Kirsty Kerr, Nathalia Bell and Ruth Murray.

'The premise is as follows: a magazine is chosen (almost at random) to be the source material. The first artist creates a collage from that material, in the format of the original magazine's page size. They then send the leftovers of the magazine to another artist, who does the same. The process is repeated until all the source material has been used up, at which point all the collages are reconstituted into a new zine, and published as a radically remixed re~imagining of the original.'
