Front Room to Front Room

I’ve worked with the White House Dagenham to produce Front Room to Front Room, a new take on our regular Front Room Programme during the Covid~19 lockdown. The remote programme shares co~created resources to help us stay connected and inspired during the closure of the house.

Alongside online classes and events, our Front Room to Front Room letters were posted to participants isolating at home, containing items and activities designed by members of our community:

~ Coronavirus Times, a poetry newsletter put together by the White House Poetry Circle

~ Pass it on, a collaborative poetry exercise by Aislinn, White House Keeper⁠ and Youth Facilitator

~ Henna designs to practice, inspired by Alfina, who runs our Henna Art workshops⁠

~ Sunflower seeds to grow, from our friends at Company Drinks, with growing tips from Lorna, from the Poetry Circle⁠

~ Online activities to join, like our Virtuali-Tea Room, Online Art Class and shared Spotify Communal Playlist⁠
